# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It takes five minutes and tastes like you made something real, not just poured from a bottle.
  • The cooling sensation feels luxurious on days when you're overheated or drained.
  • One pitcher becomes the excuse to actually drink enough water without thinking about it.
02 -
  • Not all peppermint oils are created equal—I learned this the hard way when I bought a bottle labeled food-grade that turned out to be diluted with cheap carrier oil.
  • Starting with two drops instead of three saves you from that moment of regret where the water tastes like toothpaste.
03 -
  • Stir before every pour—the oil's lighter than water and naturally floats, so you want even distribution in your glass.
  • If you mess up and add too much oil, add more water; you can't undo it, but you can dilute your way to balance.
