# What You Need:

→ Dairy & Protein

01 - 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla (2% or 0%)
02 - 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored whey protein powder

→ Fruit

03 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely diced

→ Sweetener & Extras

04 - 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
05 - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
06 - Pinch of fine sea salt

→ Coating

07 - 1/2 cup dark or white chocolate chips

# How to Prepare:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, protein powder, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
03 - Gently fold in the diced strawberries until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
04 - Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, portion out 1-tablespoon mounds onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
05 - Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the bites are completely firm to the touch.
06 - If coating in chocolate, melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Dip each frozen bite in chocolate or drizzle over the top. Return to the freezer for 10 minutes to set.
07 - Transfer bites to an airtight container and store in the freezer. Let sit at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before serving to soften slightly.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • You get that creamy ice cream texture without an ice cream maker or hours of churning
  • Each bite packs 3 grams of protein so you actually stay full, unlike those sad frozen grapes you tried once
02 -
  • These soften quickly at room temperature, so eat them straight from the freezer
  • If your protein powder is sweetened, taste the mixture before adding honey
03 -
  • Let the chocolate cool slightly after melting so it does not crack when it hits the frozen yogurt
  • A tiny pinch of salt enhances both the chocolate and strawberry flavors
